Energy states do better in recession September 21, 2010

USA Today recently did a study of states in the recession. Among their findings:

Energy states. States such as Texas and Alaska did the best during the recession — and continue to do well now. Even coal states such as Kentucky have enjoyed strong income gains.”

For the complete story, see here. This just reinforces the need for nuclear power plants, which provide thousands of jobs during and after construction.
